ORDERING/MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS

(Excluding Windshield Shades)

            1.         Select Shade Style

The premium Platinum series features MCD Clearview II Solar Screen, providing the best solar and UV protection available.  

The value-priced GOLD Series features MCD Clearview Solar Screen, with a slightly more open weave than the MCD Clearview II Solar Screen. 

2. Complete the Customer Information section of the order form.
3. Enter the Night Shade material of your choice.
4. Product

                                  Select Duo (day and night) or Solo (either day or night) shade. 

5. Operating Mode

                                 Select Manual, Remote Electric, or Combo (remote electric night shade and manual day shade).

            6.               Valances 

                                  Select YES if you have a valance across the top of your window.

                                  Select YES if you have valances coming down the side edges of your window.

             7.               Window Location 

                                  Identify where each shade will be installed.

            8.               Width

Measure the INSIDE width of the valance as close to the top as possible.   Deduct a minimum of .25” to provide clearance space for installation. (For a shade that is NOT mounted in a valance, provide the exact width of shade assembly.)

            9.               Stop Point

Measure from the INSIDE top of the valance, or mounting position, to the upper point, where you want the shade to stop when it is raised. This upper stop point will be pre-set.

            10.             Drop Length

Measure from the INSIDE top of the valance, or mounting position, to the bottom of the window frame.

            11.             Price

Use the PRICE GUIDE for the shade series selected:  Platinum Series or GOLD Series. (Note that Remote Electric Shades require one motor for each shade roller and either a  two- or fourteen-channel remote controller. See price guide for additional charges.)
